Founding Principal
An innovative and assertive executive with over forty years of achievement in the Design Profession. A multi-cultural background and solid experience in projects all over the world has created a wide base of knowledge. A proven history of completing projects within time and budget constraints has developed many long-term relationships with significant clients, governments and communities. He possesses a unique combination of talents which merge creative problem solving abilities and graphic skills with management and fiscal responsibilities. Guy Butler graduated with honours in Applied Science and Technology from the Queens University of Belfast. In addition, he has Masters of Science Degrees in both Architecture (Queens) and Business (Rollins College). He has practiced architecture as a principal since 1975. He is a member of the National Council of Architectural Boards, the Architects Registration Council of the United Kingdom and the Royal Institute of British Architects. Guy is a citizen of the United States of America and the European Economic Community (United Kingdom.)
Carlos Ontivero
Design Principal
Carlos adds more than 20 years’ experience in Architectural Design to BMA, covering everything from themed to modern. Much of his experience focuses on the hospitality industries, with projects both international and domestic. Carlos’ ability to translate a client’s idea to reality is uncanny. His designs begin with sketches and carry through 3D modelling with attention to details, materials and the client’s intent and constraints making for a successful project from the start. As Design Principal, he personally designs most BMA projects and oversees the design of all others, offering advice, direction and fine detailing along the way. Carlos has Masters in both Architecture and Advanced Design Architecture from University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
